The food at this restaurant is good but the problem is that they always run out of the food that you go there to buy. Today, we went there. This was our third trip to this restaurant and our third bad experience. Like every other time, they ran out of food before we got there. Today, they are out of both ribs and brisket. My gosh, this is a barbecue place. Why are they always out of the food that is supposed to be their specialty food? And this was only 5:00 pm. All they had was chicken. If the managers and owners of this place are listening, I'm sick of coming to your restaurant only to be told that you are out of food. Today, and from now on, I"m going to one of your nearby competitors that doesn't seem to have problems with keeping enough food on hand to meet the demand. Your competitors have good barbecue too and they never have problems with taking care of their customers.

Terrific pulled pork sandwich. Fast service and a very clean place.

Heard about this place from a coworker. Fantastic pulled pork and potato salad! And that is coming from a guy that is not a fan of potato salad. Just sayin'. I'm loving Sauce #3. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Definitely coming back when I'm in town.

I'll say this for Whole Hog - their BBQ definitely lives up to its reputation. We have been to Whole Hog three times now and generally enjoy the food. The BBQ is done well and I love how they have a variety of 6 sauces for you to choose from. They also have the option of serving coleslaw on your BBQ sandwich, which is something I prefer. The have a loaded/stuffed BBQ baked potato that my partner is quite the fan of. So, generally good entree options. The downside... I learned that Whole Hog does not make all of their sides fresh in the restaurant. For example, the potato salad - which is delicious - is trucked in pre-made. I tried one of their cobblers the last time we went and it was pretty terrible and definitely pre-made. So, if you want fresh food, this may not be the place for you. Second gripe - expense. This is probably the most expensive BBQ place in town and for no justifiable reason that I can see. So be warned - you'll get tasty BBQ, but you'll pay through the nose for it.

I'll give them a 2/5 for effort.. Not the best BBQ in town. Sides are lacking and the ribs weren't tender.

This place has all the fundamentals. Ribs were excellent, sides were solid, but Brisket and pulled Pork seemed to be reheated at lunch time.

First had Whole Hog in Little Rock. This one is a little tough to find...hidden behind a few places, but stil is great! I love the pulled pork, pulled chicken Memphis sandwhich, and the ribs. I love the #6 sauce, which has some mustard in it. The folks are nice and it's the best BBQ in town that I've yet found.

While in Arkansas on a work trip with my boyfriend we stopped in here on a recommendation from a supplier. We are from the St louis area so we were eager to compare the two styles of bbqs. Unfortunately we both have to agree that we like St. Louis bbq more, but that can't be a surprise haha, considering we live there!. We decided this based on the rub of the ribs and the smokiness of the meat. We didn't get much of that flavor from the meat but that's not to say that the food wasn't great!. The ribs were so tender they were falling off the bone and the brisket was just as tender. Their six pack of sauces were also all great! I liked #5 the best. The sides were very good. The chili was made there and I had the blackberry cobbler which was also delicious! Definitely a great place for lunch!

There was no surprise here just another example of poor Arkansas BBQ. I had a pulled pork sandwich that was okay. My biggest complaint was I could not taste any smoke, the basis of BBQ. The potato salad is delicious but it could as well be Walmart's bacon potato salad. The sauce is good though. I will not be going back.

Amazing food. And it's a good thing. This place wouldn't stay open very long if the food was simply good or ok. If it was on Rogers Ave they would be busting at the seams with customers but its tucked away and difficult to see from the main thoroughfare.

Very good pulled pork! And sauce #6 is great. My children loved the ribs. I tried their store in Little Rock first (last year) and was very pleased, maybe better than this one in FS. They are a little hard to find and could be a little better customer service.

Called ahead. Ordered ahead 2 lbs each or pulled pork and chicken plus pint of potato salad for our lake weekend. Pulled in to drive thru Friday 6/13 at 6:30. One car ahead of me. One behind. 15 minutes later nothing happening. So I called inside. I was told, "man, we're slammed in here." And that was it. No.... we just can't get there, come inside. Or.... hey man, we'll be there in five. Nothing. When I asked again, are we going to be served and stated I had a call ahead bulk order all she did was ask my name. No answer. No promise. No kiss by behind. Nothing. I said cancel my order. She didn't even say okay. Just never answered me. I pulled away. 20 minute wait for nothing and some bummed out folks at the lake.

Five stars for the food. Simply fantastic. Very tender and moist pork, chicken, and beef. Ribs are solid. Barbecue sauces are the best (and most varied) around. Go to another place and you get stuck with one or two options that you may not like that much, but here you have sweet, spicy, vinegary, rich mustard, hot, etc. No real decor or atmosphere though-- which is the only negative. Moderate to higher price for BBQ (5.99 or so for a pulled pork sandwich, and $9 per pound of pulled pork).

Every time I would eat here the chicken was cold. Good, but cold. Now, I don't eat chicken, so I munch on the baked beans. Great baked beans. The hubs loves the pulled pork and potato salad.
